WORLD BOOK DAY


23 APRIL: a symbolic date for world literature, on this date and in the same year of 1616, Cervantes an Shakespeare died. The idea for this celebration originated in Catalonia where on 23 April, Saint Goerge's Day, a rose is a traditional present for each book sold. The book is in memory of Cervantes. This custom started in 1926 to commemorate Cervantes dead. MIGUEL DE CERVANTES
